KeyFilm will produce Telefilm Cel 8 by writer/director Boris Paval Conen. The film shows the dramatic true story of the night in which Dutch officers fight a battle with 5 asylum seekers who have had their asylum denied and are to be deported at the airport.

The Telefilm project is a collaboration between the Dutch Public Broadcasters and independent producers. Twelve ideas received funding to develop a screenplay. Six scripts will be produced, one of which is Cel 8.

Telefilms are Dutch television films of 80-90 minutes in length. Not based on existing television series or formats, the six Telefilms will be broadcast in 2013. The films are contemporary stories, relevant, surprising en with tentalizing characters in a strong story.
