Cash rebate

During the 2014 Cannes Film Festival the Netherlands Film Fund launched The Netherlands Film Production Incentive to boost the Netherland’s attractiveness to international filmmakers.

The Netherlands Film Production Incentive offers a 30% Cash Rebate on eligible Dutch spend. More information on the new system and guidelines is available at http://www.filmfonds.nl/international/netherlands-film-production-incentive

KeyFilm invites foreign producers to discuss their projects with us and see if we together can find a match in content and in rebate possibilities. We have an extensive network of co-producers, funds and financiers, and (co-)produced over 40 features.
Vital to our approach is the close collaboration with writers and directors to develop intelligent, character-driven audience favourites and art-house films.

Co-productions with the Dutch cash rebate involved are a.o. Night of a 1000 Hours by Virgil Widrich, in co-production with Amour Fou Vienna/Luxembourg (world premiere Pusan 2016), The Idol by double Oscar nominee Hany Abu-Assad, in co-production with the UK and the Middle East (world premiere Toronto 2015) and Sylvain de Coninck by Erik Lammens, in co-production with Prime Time Belgium (in pre production).
